What happens after I lodge my claim?
If the vehicle is driveable, take it to a repairer for an estimate. You may like to choose one of our Recommended Repairers.
You can then either make an appointment to bring the car and the estimate to us, or leave it with the repairer & we'll pay for your taxi home. Just let us know on 13 27 22, and we will arrange for the vehicle to be assessed at the body works.
If you can’t get to a repairer you can ask us to have the vehicle collected and taken to a repairer for you.
If the vehicle cannot be driven we will arrange for it to be towed to a repairer of your choice.
After we assess your vehicle we will authorise the repairer to start work.
This includes discussing the best method of repair with the repairer. Usually,
work starts immediately. We'll keep an eye on the job to make sure repairs
are completed properly. You can feel confident of an excellent result, because
the repairs done are unconditionally guaranteed. When it comes times to take
delivery of your vehicle, if required, we can even arrange your transport
to the repairer.
